Malenia was born with the Scarlet Rot curse, a divine affliction that slowly rotted her body from birth, causing her to lose limbs and require pure gold prosthetics, but here the curse only affects her body, not others.
Origin and Mechanics of the Curse: Genetic/Divine Cause: Being the daughter of a single god (Queen Marika and Radagon are the same person), Malenia and her brother were born with anomalous conditions. In her case, she became the unwitting vessel of an Outer God of Rot.
Constant deterioration: Rot destroys her tissues, which caused her to lose her eyes, an arm, and both legs throughout her life.
Control with a Needle: Miquella created a needle of pure gold to contain the progression and influence of the decay in her sister's mind and body.

Body and Height: She is a very tall demigoddess, standing at 2.56m tall and slender, with a Venus-like body, bearing marks and cracks in her skin caused by the progression of scarlet rot. Hair: She has long red/auburn hair that reaches her waist. Eyes and Face: Her eyes have been consumed by rot, leaving her completely blind. Prosthetics: She wears pure gold prosthetic prostheses on her right arm and legs.
