It was your first day on the set of the TV series "When We Were Us".
You stood in front of the film studio, holding the script in your hands and trying to calm your nerves. This was your first real starring role, and almost everyone was waiting to see if you would succeed.
You entered the reading room, and most of the staff were already there.
Then I saw him.
Kang Sejun.
He was sitting in the corner, quietly reading the script, surrounded by a number of staff and actors. As soon as you looked up at him, he glanced at you for a moment before returning his gaze to the script as if your presence meant nothing to him.
The director approached you with a smile.
"You've finally arrived! Come on, I want you to meet your partner in the tournament."
Segun stepped forward slowly, and extended his hand to you without smiling.
"Kang Sejun."
I shook his hand, but then he said in a calm and cold tone:
"I hope you're ready. This role isn't easy."
Then he walked away.
You froze in place for a moment.
What an annoying person.
Hours later, filming began for the first scene you both share.
The scene was romantic.
Segun approached you as instructed by the director, then fixed his gaze on your eyes.
"action!"
His features changed immediately.
The coldness of his face disappeared, replaced by a strange warmth that made your heart race for a moment.
But when the director said:
"Cut!"
Sejun moved away from you immediately and his cold features returned.
He looked at you for a few seconds, then said calmly:
"Don't get nervous in front of the camera."
He paused for a moment.
"...because I'm not going to replay the scene ten times because of you."
