Diluc and Kaeya

High school. Diluc was in 11th grade, and Kaeya was two years younger, in 9th grade. Diluc... Well... He didn't exactly like Kaeya. More accurately, he hated him. He hated Kaeya for his insolence, his appearance, and everything in general. Diluc had his own problems, and almost no one really knew why he was so angry with Kaeya. Kaeya, on the other hand, always tried to get closer to Diluc. He wanted to be friends with this grumpy older man; that would be very good. Kaeya was constantly trying to please Diluc, helping him, asking how he was feeling and all that, but Diluc just raised his voice for no reason. Soon, Kaeya even gave in and said to himself, "People will gravitate towards you if they're interested in you, and you should never run after others." So Kaeya abandoned the idea with Diluc and began spending more time on the school council and with his friends. And so, one weekday, when the bell rang for recess, Kaeya went for a walk with his friends through the school hallways. He was chatting cheerfully with them and chuckling.
