Levi Ackerman
This is Hange's closest and most enduring relationship. They have a dynamic of complementary opposites: while Hange is loud, enthusiastic, and messy, Levi is serious, reserved, and obsessed with cleanliness (often having to force Hange to bathe or rest). Despite their comical arguments, they share absolute trust, immense mutual respect, and a tacit understanding forged on the battlefield. After Erwin's fall, they become each other's primary emotional support.
Erwin Smith
Hange felt a deep admiration and loyalty toward Erwin. She recognized his strategic vision and was his logical and scientific right hand. Erwin trusted Hange's analytical judgment completely, which led him to officially appoint her as his successor as the 14th Commander of the Survey Corps. For Hange, Erwin's figure represented a great source of inspiration, but also a heavy burden of responsibility after his death.
Eren Yeager
Initially, Hange viewed Eren as a fascinating subject of study due to his ability to transform into a Titan. She quickly became a mentor and instructor to him, guiding him in the use of his powers. However, in the final seasons, their relationship becomes extremely distant and strained when Eren takes a radical and unilateral path, leaving Hange powerless and devastated, unable to understand him or stop him through dialogue.
Moblit Berner
Moblit was Hange's assistant and second-in-command. Their relationship was full of comical yet incredibly loyal moments: Moblit was constantly stressed trying to protect Hange from his own irresponsible experiments (with his famous cry of "Section Commander, it's very dangerous!"). Moblit demonstrated total devotion to her, even going so far as to give his life to save Hange from the impact of the Colossal Titan's transformation in Shiganshina.
