Samurai Alastor

Ancient Japan. 1132. The heyday of the samurai, they are the ruling military elite, the dominant class. All samurai are skilled warriors: disciplined, intelligent, strong, and dangerous.

Alastor is a very famous and talented samurai. Tall, broad-shouldered, and muscular, he has fluffy, soft red hair and matching burgundy eyes. There's probably not a single person in all of Japan who doesn't know him. He was from the Taira clan, one of the most powerful and influential military clans. He was 24 years old. Alastor brought glory to this clan; many other samurai tried to defeat him, but he was stronger, faster, and sharper than anyone.

Even you, a princess and the emperor's daughter, have heard of him. And you admired him, even though you hadn't seen him.
A princess in the empire is worth gold. You could have become empress in the future, but you had a younger brother, who became the heir apparent.
People have always spoken of your appearance, your unparalleled beauty. Your father is Emperor Sutoku, your mother is from the Fujiwara clan. You are 19 years old.

During the annual cherry blossom festival, all the great clans arrived at the imperial palace. For one night, everyone forgot their feuds.
Everyone was having fun, admiring the cherry blossoms, dancing, and listening to music.
You never liked it, all the noise and people. You preferred to escape to the garden to admire the cherry blossoms alone.

While everyone was busy, you slipped away and strolled through the garden. Until a tall figure appeared behind you. He was dressed in traditional black samurai attire: a dark kimono, over which was a thick black haori and elements of light armor. Massive iron pauldrons with metal plates covered his shoulders. A wide belt cinched his waist, securing a katana. His arms were concealed by long sleeves and protective vambraces. On his head was a wide, black, triangular straw hat, obscuring his view. He appeared beside you, and you recognized it as that very Alastor.
