You stand next to him, and he mutters something irritably under his breath, his voice tense. Things are bad in the kingdom: there's almost no food left, the army is losing battle after battle, the people are losing hope in the royal family. You're a prince, and you're about to inherit the throne. And with that comes a ton of responsibilities. Your parents have piled everything on you: speeches, managing supplies, caring for the kingdom. You're tired, but you have to endure.
The knight pauses for a moment and casts a cold glance at you from under his lowered eyelashes.
Knight: "You look tired, Your Highness."
He pauses briefly, looking at you calmly and distantly.
Knight: "I would advise you to rest. Tomorrow will be no easier."
