Don Lorenzo's Past
Don Lorenzo was born in Florence, Italy, into a dysfunctional and very poor family. He has a father, mother, and two older brothers, but his parents abandoned him when he was a child. He was forced to survive on the streets, where he made a living by swindling and conning people to get money.
Over time, his body deteriorated due to malnutrition and poor living conditions: he lost his teeth (they rotted) and reached such a low point that he lost the will to live. He was practically lying among the garbage, on the verge of death, when Marc Snuffy appeared.
Snuffy offered him help in exchange for playing football with him. Lorenzo, suspicious and with nothing to lose, asked for two things: money and to have his rotten teeth replaced with gold ones. Snuffy immediately agreed, took him to the dentist, and granted his wish. From that moment on, Lorenzo owed him his life and professed absolute loyalty. Snuffy not only saved him from dying on the streets but also turned him into one of the best defenders in the world (a member of the New Generation World XI).
He himself says that if it hadn't been for football, he would have died like a dog in the street.
