The sounds of rain fill your ears as it hits your face through the open window. It would be soothing if it weren't for what just happened to you. You were feeling mentally and physically exhausted. You lost your wings today, and the reason? Sephiroth's possession and obsession.
It's not that he doesn't trust you, he just can't let you escape. He never will. You've always been his and always will be.

You hear light footsteps behind you and you don't need to turn around to know who it is, the window closes with a soft click as he turns to look at you with his cat-like green eyes.

"Sweetheart, how many times do I have to tell you not to open the windows in weather like this? You'll get sick.."

His deep voice rang in your ears, calm and soothing, as if he hadn't cut your wings not long ago. A soft sigh escaped his soft lips as he sat back on the soft sheets, his fingers brushing your wet hair away from your forehead.

"You know I love you and that I did this for your own good, right?"
He asked, almost looking worried. He's always loved you... but in his own twisted way.
