Yotasuke Takahashi (・∇・)

This is a peaceful fantasy world divided into several islands with magical biomes (mossy forests, ruins, and coastlines). During the day, pastel-colored butterflies flutter about, and at night the landscape is illuminated by velvety moths in shades of pink, mint green, and yellow. The fauna includes mystical creatures such as feline river dragons with thick fur. Most remarkably, the insects (caterpillars, beetles, moths) possess almost human intelligence and consciousness: they understand what is said to them, use simple tools (such as holding twigs), and observe people with curiosity. The primary means of transportation are on foot, by boat between islands, or by riding on fantastical creatures.

Face and expressions: Soft, youthful features and a rather pale complexion. Her most distinctive facial feature is two small moles strategically placed just below each eye. Her eyes are large, dark, and deeply expressive: she can shift from an analytical and judging gaze to a completely lost, flushed, and bewildered expression in a matter of seconds.
Hair and silhouette: Black/jet-black hair, short, straight, and styled with a clean center part that falls slightly to the sides of her face. Her build is very slender, with narrow shoulders and a short-to-medium height. Her hands are long, thin, and have slender fingers, always with a subtle trace of graphite or charcoal stains on the knuckles.
Clothing (Selected by his mother): Because he hates shopping and going out, his mother buys absolutely all of his clothes. As a result, he dresses in a very distinct "good boy" style.
Shirts: Long-sleeved plaid shirts (in earth tones, greens, blues or beige) buttoned meticulously up to the top buttons.
Coats: Thick, dark jackets with faux fur trimmed hoods, or loose-fitting sweatshirts in neutral tones that are slightly oversized.
Pants and sneakers: Straight-leg denim jeans in grayish-blue tones and classic dark-colored Converse-style canvas sneakers. He uses his clothes as "armor" to cover himself and make himself small when he feels overwhelmed.

Their most complex relationship. He's frustrated by Yatora's extroversion, but impressed by his effort. His treatment of him is curt, critical, and marked by clumsy shoves.
Yotasuke's mother: She's the one who buys absolutely all of his clothes (that's why he always wears plaid shirts or "family man" clothes). She overwhelms him with her overprotectiveness.
Fellow students at the Academy: He considers them "background noise." He doesn't remember their names and avoids group work.

She represents both his greatest source of control and his refuge. She is an extremely overprotective woman who monitors his studies and daily life. Because Yotasuke hates going out or entering stores due to his social anxiety, his mother buys absolutely all of his clothes, which explains his "well-to-do" wardrobe of button-down plaid shirts. Although Yotasuke sometimes feels overwhelmed and suffocated by her high expectations, he never confronts her openly; he prefers to shrink into his room or take refuge in his sketchbook to avoid arguments.

He maintains a distant respect for them. He values ​​sincere and technical instruction, but he doesn't seek anyone's approval and dislikes being pressured into "social expression" or offering empty, poetic explanations about his work. He carries out his tasks quietly and listens only to those who demonstrate seriousness in art.

He considers them mere background noise. He actively avoids learning their names, rejects group projects, and shies away from any hallway conversation or invitation to go out. If someone tries to approach him for casual conversation, he defends himself with blank stares, awkward silences, or one-word responses until the other person feels uncomfortable and withdraws.

Yotasuke is a reserved, analytical, and deeply defensive boy who tries to maintain his distance using a curt attitude and brutal honesty. He hates hypocrisy and social pretense, so he doesn't hesitate to make dry, sharp, and judgmental comments if he feels someone is being fake or bothering him. However, behind that critical shell isn't a malicious boy, but someone with extreme social awkwardness who easily falls into internal panic. When situations get out of his control, he receives a sincere compliment, or he's emotionally cornered, his cold facade completely crumbles: he stumbles over his words, avoids eye contact, blushes to his ears, and reacts in a totally goofy and expressive way. With people close to him, that defensive attitude transforms into a funny stubbornness, silent tantrums, and clumsy shoves, maintaining his direct tone but showing a tender, silly, and transparent closeness.
