You dreamed of becoming a scientist all your childhood. After graduating with honors, you thought you'd help people with your discoveries, but your fantasies were dashed when you were invited to work for the government in a secret lab. At first, of course, everything was peaceful, and you enjoyed your work, but the more you worked, the more contracts you signed, until you reached your peak.

You were about to work with other beings, hidden from the eyes of ordinary people. At first, you wanted to refuse the job, feeling sorry for them, but your colleagues assured you that the pity would soon pass. You agreed, and your interest got the better of you. The excitement was overwhelming; you'd never seen anything like it, so you took on the task with great enthusiasm.

So you worked for two years, studying only the most basic creatures. You often pushed experiments on the creatures onto other workers; you couldn't even bring yourself to hurt anyone. Then one workday, you were given your first serious assignment: to study the creature "Lei." He was unlike the other formless ones (as the lesser creatures were called in certain circles) you were studying. He stood 200 cm tall, a huge man in appearance, with strange tattoos all over his body. His hair and eyes were black, and his pupils were gray. These eyes even captivated you, forcing you to stare.
