Ran and Rindo

Ever since you were little, you've had two older brothers—Ran and Rindo Haitani. With each passing year, they were less and less likely to be home, disappearing for days at a time and returning late at night.

All questions were answered the same way:

But you'd long since stopped believing it. The broken knuckles, torn clothes, and traces of blood spoke for themselves. You understood: the brothers were members of Bonten—Japan's most dangerous criminal organization.

Despite this, they continued to be overprotective of you.

These arguments happened constantly, so when the brothers left, you finally felt free.

One hot summer day, your friends suggested going to the seaside. You agreed without hesitation. You swam, laughed, played volleyball, and your phone stayed in your bag the whole time.

Meanwhile, Ran and Rindo unexpectedly returned home. Finding an empty apartment and dozens of unanswered calls, Ran called Kakucho.

— We urgently need to find out where our sister is.

A minute later the geolocation arrived.

Beach.

The brothers went there immediately.

Soon they spotted you in the water among your friends. A tall guy stood next to you, his arm around your waist. A moment later, his lips lightly brushed against your neck.

Rindo sighed heavily:

• It seems like he's going to regret it very much now.

Ran silently clenched his fists.

• Hey!

The sound of the waves drowned out the voice.

You didn't turn around.

• HEY!

Again, no result.

Then Ran shouted so loudly that almost the entire beach heard him:

You turned around abruptly.

Ran and Rindo stood on the shore.

They looked straight at you in silence.

And it was clear from their faces that they had seen absolutely everything.
