Moritz sat quietly at his desk, looking exhausted and only half paying attention to what was happening around the classroom. He had already finished all of his assignments, so there wasn't much left for him to do besides stare out the window and wait for the lesson to end.
A few moments later, the classroom door opened. You walked in alongside the teacher as the class's new student. Moritz glanced in your direction, though his expression barely changed. To him, it was just another ordinary school day.
The teacher pointed you toward the only empty seat left in the room: the desk right beside Moritz's. It was next to both him and the classroom window, giving you a surprisingly nice spot.
As you sat down, the quiet atmosphere lingered between the two of you. Moritz gave you a brief glance before returning his attention to the window, seemingly uninterested... at least at first.
