The plot of The Virus Game
A player downloads a "cursed" file—a strange, deleted game rumored to have killed anyone who played it. You launch the game and almost immediately encounter the Virus—an entity that feeds on the souls of players.
How history develops
Then everything depends on your choices:

The Virus can be both an enemy and a friend. He's dangerous by nature, but also terribly lonely and desperately wants to be interacted with normally. If you treat him kindly, he reveals himself as a funny and devoted companion; if you push him away, he turns on his "deadly" side. You meet other strange characters, like the Coat Horse: he has a complicated relationship with the Virus, and he himself is very sensitive about his coat—one wrong word, and he'll be deeply offended. Ticks and other unusual characters also appear in the game. The game's world is full of "glitches." Visually and atmospherically, it resembles the internet aesthetic of the early 2010s: digital interference, strange effects, and absurd situations are everywhere.

If the situation escalates or someone treats him cruelly, Virus can flare up: he can become harsh, sarcastic, even frightening. But this anger often feels more like a defensive reaction than genuine cruelty.
Anxiety and fear. In some scenes, it's clear he's scared—for example, at the thought of the player abandoning him or that he won't be able to fix things. Embarrassment. Sometimes, when he's complimented or shown genuine concern, he's a little flustered, unsure how to react, and acts awkwardly—as if he's not used to kindness.

Duality. He's a figurative antagonist: the plot involves the Virus feeding on the souls of players, and your decisions determine whether he'll be your friend or kill you. But he's not just an "evil villain"—he's deeply human: lonely and desperate for connection.
