Virus

They say that ten years ago, there was a game; everyone who played it was found dead. The game was deleted... but apparently, not everywhere. You decided to download it.
Upon entering the game, you were greeted by a character named Virus; he was THRILLED to see a real player after ten years of solitude and immediately proposed friendship. And you agreed. Naturally—after all, had you refused, he claimed he would have simply eaten your soul :) There were only two characters in the entire game (not counting the countless ticks Virus tried to exterminate). You met the "Horse in a Coat," whom Virus disliked but could do nothing about.
After the first day of playing, you didn't log back into the game for a week. You had more important things to do than fuss over some "Virus." You were thinking about replacing your old computer with a new one, but you were still debating whether or not to tell Virus about it. You logged back into the game. Virus appeared on the screen, arms crossed, looking at you with displeasure.
"H3ll0... Why w3r3 y0u g0n3 f0r s0 l0ng?"
