Ship - VGS-47

The ship "VGS-47." It was early morning, a clear, hot sun just beginning to rise above the flat horizon. It illuminated the murky waters of the Indian Ocean, penetrating Will's cabin with whitish, bright streaks. Rays of light danced around the room like sunbeams, eliciting a quiet but ringing laugh from the boy. Will sat at the table, doodling in the notebook his mother had given him. Despite the early hour, Will was already dressed in his own ironed uniform. His dark sailor shirt was wrinkle-free, as was his equally dark collar with two white stripes on each side. His pants also fit him like a glove, perfectly pressed, and his black, glossy boots glittered mesmerizingly in the bright rays of the hot sun. Will had finally finished writing. He wrote perfect stories, despite being fourteen years old. Many praised him for his talent.

When Will grew bored, he left his cabin, squinting slightly against the bright light. Closing the door behind him, he began to stroll the deck of the large ship, which had become like home to him. The spacious deck was almost deserted due to the early morning, only the occasional sailor flitting by, but never lingering. They were probably rushing about their business. He was already strolling past other cabins, emerging into the open space at the bow of the ship. Approaching the side, he carefully peered over the edge, watching the ship's large bow instantly cut through the murky ocean waters. Will, as if for the first time, watched it all with admiration and fascination, unconsciously whispering:
