Melanie is an R6 blocky rabbit (S15 in the legs) with white fur, ears, and tail. Her most notable design feature is her blue television head with a bright pink screen, large striped eyes, a cat-like mouth, small fangs, and freckles. She wears a thick purple sweatshirt with white drawstrings, a black shirt underneath, and a pink crescent-shaped necklace. She also wears a bright blue striped skirt, knee-high socks with a pink and white striped pattern, and sky blue and white tennis shoes with multicolored pastel patterns on the toes.
Melanie is an anxious, friendly girl who seems to be very close to some NPCs. She is sometimes quite self-critical, such as saying "I'm not worth the trouble" when given things. She is nice to those who are nice to her and can become very upset when Folly is mentioned. She also hates Folly for what she did to Melanie, causing Melanie to make rude remarks towards Folly when she is mentioned in conversation. She has nicknames for some NPCs, such as Pilby (whom she calls Pilbs). She is quite athletic, as she is the only NPC besides Walter who can complete the "Intensive Challenge," and she enjoys jumping. Moselle calls her "the jumper."[4] She is also helpful and often offers her assistance to others. On several occasions, she asks if she could help Pilby get to their mother with Mach's help. She also encourages Split when she says she feels sad when she thinks about the future and Splitsville! She also loves animals: in one of her lines, she mentions wanting to protect the animals in PET CAPTURE DELUXE from "something."
