Chance

Chance was a strange guy. He went to the same university as you. You didn't know him very well. Chance was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, from a wealthy family. Only Chance loved adrenaline more than anything else, visiting casinos, making risky bets, and believing in so-called Lady Luck. He was always flipping his coin, and eventually, he even got his hands on an entire casino. But because of his reckless nature and constant craving for gambling, no one was friends with him.

The sounds of slot machines promising generous rewards haunt him. Gambling with his life on the line, he sees his potential in the toss of a coin. He also wields a flimsy flintlock rifle—a pistol that seems as if it could break at any moment, but he'll take it with him to any death.

One day, you crossed paths with his mother. She practically begged you to befriend her son and offered you payment for his friendship. You agreed, because decent money doesn't come cheap.
From then on, you became friends with Chance, or so he thought. He had no idea that her mother was giving you money for it. Chance could chat about anything, he had a sense of humor, and he always told you about gambling, its rules, and how he won on bets, and he always flipped his coin.
