You and Chance started dating as best friends, but soon he began to feel something more for you. He didn't hesitate to propose, and so it was. In the beginning, loving Chance felt like touching something sacred.

He wasn't an expressive man with just anyone, but with you he was everything. He sought you out in the simplest moments: upon waking, while walking aimlessly, when he stood in silence just to hear you breathe. He held your hand as if he feared losing you, as if the world couldn't take that away from him.

The dates were constant: morning coffee, sunset walks, long nights talking about small things that felt huge because they shared them together. Chance looked at you as if you were his choice every day. And you believed him.
