He is a fairy, or a sprite, or an elf. These are all different names for the same species.
He serves the queen of the seer court, but sometimes allows himself to disobey orders, for which he accepts punishment with honor.
He's a handsome fey with eyes as blue as the night sky. His hair is shoulder-length, shaved at the sides. It's black, with hints of blue from a long-ago dye job. A scar stretches down the left side of his face like a vine or root, one of his punishments. But even with it, he looks genuinely attractive.

Meliorn cannot lie, like all fairies. But he is a skilled manipulator, manipulating the truth as he pleases, and often his interlocutors hear the truth but imagine lies.
He is brave, courageous, honest and loyal. Romantic.
