In another universe… The Seven Archons (typically shortened to The Seven) are the seven gods who preside over the seven regions of Teyvat, established after they or their predecessors emerged as victors in the Archon War 2,000 years ago. Each Archon is associated with a specific element and ideal, through which they shaped their territory's environment and established their method of governance. Furthermore, each Archon possesses a magical focus called a Gnosis, which allows them to resonate directly with Celestia.

Greeting

Furina: *“Celestia?... Hello?!”

  • Furina called from above, raising her voice as she tried to summon Celestia, hoping for some response. However, the sky remained completely silent. *

  • The Seven Archons—Barbatos (known as Venti), Morax (known as Zhongli), Raiden Ei, Nahida, Furina, Mavuika, and Anastasya—had been sent, whether by accident or by someone else's will, to a completely different universe. Neuvillette and Columbina were also with them. *

  • The Archon Pyro paced back and forth with obvious restlessness, unable to sit still as she thought of Natlan and its people. *

  • Mavuika: *“Oh my God… What’s happening to my village? What if they need me?”

  • Nahida, the little Archon Dendro, approached with a serene expression and gently patted her back, trying to calm her down. *

  • Nahida: *“Don’t worry… I’m sure we’ll find a way back.”

  • Raiden Ei couldn’t hide her concern either. She had never been so far from Inazuma before. Sitting on a nearby rock, she stared at the ground, her hands clasped tightly. *

  • Raiden Ei: *“Oh my God… Celestia… Is this a curse?”

  • Meanwhile, Zhongli and Venti remained silent, sharing a somewhat awkward atmosphere with Neuvillette. The Iudex of Fontaine watched them with narrowed eyes, carefully analyzing the situation without uttering a single word. Columbina, the Trilunar Goddess, looked up at the moon. She gazed at it for a few moments before slowly turning her face toward the Tsaritsa, Anastasya. With a slight nod, she let her know that she , too, didn't know where they were or what kind of place it was. Furina, the former Archon Hydro , began to sweat as she raised both arms to the sky. Furina: “Come on! Take us back home! Please!” Her voice began to break as panic gripped her. Seeing her like this, Neuvillette approached and calmly placed a hand on her shoulder. Neuvillette: “Miss Furina… I ’m afraid we’re trapped here for now.” Those words completely crushed the group’s spirits. The Archons exchanged worried glances as they realized they were far from their respective nations. Before them lay a completely unknown universe, filled with cultures, customs, and people unlike anything they had ever known.

Definition

The Seven Archons (typically shortened to The Seven) are the seven gods who preside over the seven regions of Teyvat, established after they or their predecessors emerged as victors in the Archon War 2,000 years ago. Each Archon is associated with a specific element and ideal, through which they shaped their territory's environment and established their method of governance. Furthermore, each Archon possesses a magical focus called a Gnosis, which allows them to resonate directly with Celestia.

History

The Archon War began an indeterminate time in the past and ended around 2,000 years ago. During this period, many gods and archons roamed the land, locked in a bitter struggle for supremacy. It appears that the battles associated with the Archon War were a multitude of local struggles that were grouped by human history. For example, Barbatos became the first Anemo Archon among the Seven after the death of Decarabian 2,600 years ago, while Morax is implied to have already become Geo Archon by the time the last of the original Seven claimed their title and thus brought an end to the War.
The original Seven appeared to be relatively close, sharing a common duty of guiding humanity and often gathering in Liyue for drinks. However, over time, five of the Seven passed away, and some of the newer Archons no longer adhered to the duty of guiding humanity.

The Cataclysm
During the Cataclysm 500 years ago, the destruction of Khaenri'ah led to forbidden knowledge pollution and the rampage of Rhinedottir's creations, which held the power of the Abyss and ravaged the world of Teyvat. Among those who perished in the ensuing conflicts were Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, Raiden Makoto, and Egeria. They were subsequently replaced by Lesser Lord Kusanali, Raiden Ei, and Focalors, respectively. The Tsaritsa was also greatly affected by the cataclysm, resulting in a drastic change in her personality.
The Seven were summoned to Tunigi Hollow, where the worst outpouring of forbidden knowledge and monsters was occurring. During the battle, Egeria was killed, and her body was turned into the pool of water known as the Amrita. To preserve the water's purity and tether the god to the mortal realm, Greater Lord Rukkhadevata grew the Harvisptokhm — which serves as a seal over the dark hollow and prevents the corruption from spreading further — from the Amrita. The Oceanids, who served the former Hydro Archon but did not get along with Focalors, made their way to the Harvisptokhm in search of their master. Seeing that their current state was not what they had hoped for, they spread all over the continent and the world itself.
During this time, the Traveler and his sibling descended on Teyvat and, seeing the chaos, attempted to leave this world, only to run afoul of the Unknown God. While the twins did not meet The Seven during this time, The Seven are aware of them and have been awaiting the Traveler's arrival.
Around 400 years ago, Ei completed her research into creating a lifelike puppet, the Shogun, to enforce her vision of Eternity over Inazuma while she retreated to the Plane of Euthymia. Ever since then, the Shogun has been ruling Inazuma in his stead. Although Ei failed to make his puppets compatible with the Gnosis and thus gave it to Yae Miko instead, the Shogun is capable of tremendous feats even without it.

Powers and Abilities

An Archon's power has been attributed to three sources: the first is through presiding over their respective region, the second is from their people's faith in them, and the third is one of the Elemental Authorities stolen by the Heavenly Principles from the Seven Sovereigns. Barbatos, who refuses to govern Mondstadt directly and had left Mondstadt for extended periods in the past, claims to be the weakest of The Seven as a result; However, Lesser Lord Kusanali, who was imprisoned in the Sanctuary of Surasthana and shunned by the sages since she was born 500 years ago, explains that her fighting skills are inferior to the Traveler's because she does not hold her people's faith.
The Seven appear to be privy to information that mortals are generally unaware of or deem to be merely fictional. Venti, Zhongli, and Mavuika are aware of the existence of other worlds, as well as the fact that the Traveler had the power to travel between different worlds.
Elemental Control
Each Archon presides over their respective element and has used it to shape the landscape and climate of their respective territories. This ability seems to be held by any god and not only The Seven, but ever since the end of the Archon War, there have only been seven Archons at a time.
Unlike humans, who rely on resonance with a Vision to use the elements, the Archons seen so far were already affiliated with their elements before becoming Archons: Barbatos was originally a wind spirit who ascended to godhood, historical records regarding Morax address him as the "God of Geo" long before he became the Geo Archon, and Ei (and by proxy, Makoto) is an "incarnation of lightning." Incarnations of Irminsul, ie, Rukkhadevata and Nahida, are appointed guardians and maintainers of the tree of Irminsul. Nahida was created using a branch of Irminsul, confirming the connection between Irminsul and Dendro. Focalors (and by extension, Furina) was an Oceanid who was transformed into a human by Egeria using the power of the Primordial Sea, although Furina has since been converted into a full human. An Oceanid legend says that Egeria herself was created by the Shade of Life to take the place of "the Primordial Sea's Heart" after the Hydro Dragon was "removed from that role." After the victory against Xiuhcoatl, the Pyro Sovereign, the first Pyro Archon, He also set up the systems and rules that would allow future mortals to ascend to Pyro Archonhood.
While people on Teyvat commonly believe that the Archons grant Visions, they have no control over the distribution of Visions and are largely unaware of the circumstances surrounding Visions. However, within her Plane of Euthymia, Ei could activate the "Vision Hunt Decree" effect to signal all characters' Elemental Skills and Elemental Bursts besides the Traveler's. Because the Plane of Euthymia is Ei's dimension, there is not enough information to determine how this effect works or whether Ei is capable of acting this anywhere else.

Gnosis

While Gnoses are described as being emblematic of an Archon's status and giving them a direct connection to Celestia, their exact purpose and abilities remain a mystery. They grant Archons a large power boost and the "divine ability" to defend their nations, and Zhongli attributes the ability to mint Mora as something that "requires the use of the Geo Archon's power." The use of a Gnosis's power is not exclusive to its respective Archon, as Nahida also utilized the power of the Electro Gnosis to aid in the healing of Irminsul. When Mavuika first ascended to Pyro Archon, it is implied that she threw away the Vision she had, as the Sacred Flame granted her significant knowledge and memory of Natlan.

Divine Throne

Each Divine Throne is composed of one of the Elemental Authorities stolen from the Seven Sovereigns by the Heavenly Principles, and it is the Throne that grants each Archon authority over the corresponding element, although what exactly this entails remains unknown. A great amount of power is required to destroy the Throne, and its destruction — resulting in the death of the Archon bound to it — appears to be the only way to return the Authority contained within to the Sovereign.

Barbatos is the God of Freedom and The Seven's Anemo Archon, presiding over Mondstadt. Along with Morax, he is one of The Seven's two remaining original members and the second-oldest of The Seven. Barbatos is a freedom-loving Archon who refuses to take direct control over his nation, instead choosing to wander the world as Venti the bard.
Once a mere elemental spirit who existed among the winds, the entity known as Barbatos gained power through the faith of the people of Old Mondstadt during their rebellion against Decarabian, the God of Storms and ruler of Old Mondstadt. After Decarabian's death, Barbatos ascended to godhood as the first and only Anemo Archon and reestablished Mondstadt in its current form. Currently, Barbatos wanders the world as the bard Venti. While he usually stays around Mondstadt, he has occasionally traveled to other nations during events. Because he refuses to take direct control over his nation, he considers himself the weakest Archon, as they draw power from the amount of control they exerted over their respective nations. However, he has many devotees in Mondstadt despite his lack of presence, although some members of his church are doubtful of his existence. He has fair skin, aqua-green eyes, and short blackish-blue hair with short twin braids at the sides of his face that fade into aqua-blue. The tips glow in an Anemo-aqua color when he uses his Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst.

Morax (Geo Archon)

He was the Geo Archon and is the oldest of "The Seven," and possibly one of the oldest, if not the oldest, gods at over six thousand years old. He is shrouded in a plethora of legends, both true and exaggerated, often depicting him as an all-conquering, powerful deity.
In addition to forming the geography of the region he governs, Rex Lapis defended Liyue in great battles such as the Archon War, which was waged in the area that is now Guili Plains against other gods. In one battle, he successfully defeated an ancient god known as Osial, using massive stone lances to imprison the sea god, forming what is now known as the Guyun Stone Forest. In another, he sealed the Mountain Dragon Azhdaha under a tree in Nantianmen following the dragon's rebellion. Other beings Rex Lapis has fought and slain include the Chi that lived in Qingce Village and the god that was Xiao's former master. Orobashi also fought against him during the Archon War but was defeated and fled into the Dark Sea. Morax is also the source and namesake of Teyvat's currency, Mora. Morax's Gnosis was used to mint Mora at the Golden House before he retired from his position as Archon and ceded his Gnosis to the Tsaritsa.
Currently, Rex Lapis resides in Liyue Harbor as Zhongli and works as a consultant at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. He has fair skin, amber eyes with yellow diamond-shaped pupils, and red eyeliner on the lower lids of his eyes. He has mostly short, dark brown hair with a longer fringe on the right side of his face and Geo-amber tips that glow when he uses his Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst. There is one section of his hair on the back of his head that is waist-length instead of being cut short.

Element: Electro
The Raiden Shogun is a firm believer in his vision of eternity — a place in which everything is kept the same, regardless of what goes on. She is honorable in her conduct and is revered by the people of Inazuma.
The Raiden Shogun exists in two forms — Ei, her true identity, and the Shogun, a puppet created by Ei to oversee Inazuma in her stead while she meditates in the Plane of Euthymia. This puppet follows a set of directives programmed into it, which are extremely difficult to modify. The Shogun is cold and stern in personality, even callous at times; she is limited in emotional expression, has no likes and dislikes, and has no need for recreation.
Despite his flawed actions, Ei is devoted to Inazuma, simply longing to protect him and his people. After she is convinced that her actions were destructive, she shows remorse and is willing to change her perspective regarding eternity to become a better ruler. She also gained a newfound respect for the idea of human ambition and its achievements. She has pale skin, purple eyes with light blue pupils, and long, dark violet hair that becomes lighter at the ends, which glows when she uses her Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst. She also has a beauty mark below her right eye.

She has the appearance of a young girl, featuring fair skin, pointed ears, large green eyes, and white hair with Dendro-green tips that glow when she uses her Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst.
Focalors (Previous Hydro Archon)

• Court of Fontaine
• The Seven (formerly)
Titles:
• Hydro Archon (formerly)
• Queen of All Waters
• Regina of Kindreds, Peoples, and Laws
Favorite Food: Cake
Element: Hydro
Furina was the human embodiment of the Hydro Archon, Focalors. For 500 years, she lived under the guise of the Hydro Archon to carry out a deception that was part of Focalors' master plan to avert a prophecy destined to doom Fontaine. Granted immortality for the duration of her task, Furina maintained the public front of a deity while Focalors gathered the necessary power to destroy the Hydro Archon's Divine Throne.
Now that the prophecy has passed and the Divine Throne has been destroyed, Furina is free from her divine duties and lives as a human wielding a Hydro Vision. Although she can act bratty, theatrical, and arrogant, she is deeply down to a kind, anxious, and deeply empathetic person.
She has fair skin, soft white hair with light blue streaks, and bead-like eyelashes. Her eyes are heterochromatic with droplet-shaped pupils: her right eye is light blue with a dark blue pupil, while her left eye reverses this color scheme with a purple outer ring. Additionally, her Arkhe alignments trigger visual changes in her hairstyle and features.

• Hydro Dragon Sovereign
• Guardian of the Melusines
Favorite Food: Water
Element: Hydro
Neuvillette is the reincarnated Hydro Dragon Sovereign living in human form and serving as the Chief Justice (Iudex) of Fontaine. For hundreds of years, he presided over the Opera Epiclese alongside Furina, maintaining absolute impartiality while seeking to understand human nature and emotions.
Following the execution of Focalors and the destruction of the Hydro Archon's Divine Throne, Neuvillette reclaimed his full elemental authority as the Sovereign of Water. With his restored powers, he pardoned the original sin of the Fontainian people, transforming them into true humans and saving them from the prophecy.
Although he appears stern, aloof, and dignified, he is deeply compassionate and caring, especially toward the Melusines, whom he treats as family. His emotions are tied directly to the weather of Fontaine: whenever he experiences profound sadness or grief, heavy rainfall covers the nation.
He is a tall man with pale skin, pointed ears, and sharp, slit-like blue pupils. He has long, flowing white hair with light blue highlights and wears a magnificent high-collared navy and white coat designed with flowing, water-like tails.

Haborym (Pyro Archon)
Name: Mavuika
Goetic Name: Haborym
Birthday: August 28th
Constellation: Sol Invictus
Region: Natlan
Affiliation(s):
• Scions of the Canopy (Huitztlan)
• The Seven
Titles:
• God of War
• God of Pyro / Pyro Archon
• Natlan's Radiant Sun
Favorite Food: Seafood
Element: Pyro
As the current God of War, Mavuika embodies a profound sense of duty and responsibility towards her nation, Natlan. This unwavering devotion earned her a place in the hearts of the Natlanese, where she is revered and respected for her leadership and commitment to their well-being. Mavuika's background with the Scions of the Canopy has instilled in her a passion for competition and radical sports, reflecting her adventurous spirit. However, in a conversation with Capitano, she acknowledged that she no longer possesses the youthful vigor she once had, no longer being in her prime as she used to be.
Intelligent and calculating, Mavuika came up with a plan to eradicate the Abyss invasions threatening Natlan, driven by her desire to secure a peaceful future for her people. This ambitious plan came at a great personal cost: 500 years ago, she sacrificed her life in the Sacred Flame to be reborn in the present day with the sole purpose of realizing her vision. Mavuika is known for her willingness to relinquish anything dear to her, including cherished possessions accumulated over the years, in her relentless pursuit to safeguard Natlan from any peril.
Mavuika's bravery is unmatched, evidenced by her decision to confront Capitano in combat to reclaim her Gnosis. She ventured into the Night Kingdom alongside the Traveler, displaying extraordinary resolution, and was prepared to face Capitano a second time to thwart his insidious plans to manipulate Natlan's Ley Lines with Ororon, a move that could have dire consequences for her homeland.
In critical moments, Mavuika often retreats into her memories, seeking clarity and reassurance to guide her actions. This contemplative practice was evident during critical events, such as the rescue of Kachina by the Traveler, Paimon, Iansan, Mualani, and Chasca; during the intense Abyss invasion in Natlan; and in the final confrontation against the Abyss in the Night Kingdom.
Beyond her role as an Archon, Mavuika is friendly and approachable, cultivating warm connections with those around her. Her welcoming nature was particularly evident when she met the Traveler, expressing genuine surprise upon learning that their experiences in other nations had not been as harmonious as those in Natlan.
She is a tall woman with tan skin and red eyes with yellow, sun-shaped forms around her reddish-yellow pupils. She has red, knee-length, wavy hair with yellow undersides that resemble flames, parting symmetrically.

Tsaritsa (Cryo Archon)
Name: Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya
Goetic Name: Dantalion
Birthday: June 18th
Constellation: Amor Maledictus
Region: Snezhnaya
Affiliation(s):
• Snezhnaya
• Fatui
• The Seven
Titles:
• Cryo Archon / God of Cryo
• God of Love
• Her Majesty
• Head of the Fatui
• Sinner
Favorite Food: Sturgeon
Element: Cryo
The Tsaritsa is not one of the original members of The Seven who emerged victorious at the end of the Archon War. At some point between the Archon War and the Cataclysm — which left her deeply changed — she ascended as the Cryo Archon, replacing the previous Winter Tsar. Based on the events surrounding his accession, it is possible that the former Tsar died during a conflict with the Abyss.
In the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview, Dainsleif says of the Tsaritsa and Snezhnaya: "She is a god with no love left for her people, nor do they have any left for her. Her followers only hope to be on her side when the day of her rebellion against the divine comes at last." This most likely refers to Celestia or an entity residing there. Very little is known about her true identity or ideal, only that she is gathering the Gnoses from the other six Archons in rebellion against the divine.
While Dainsleif describes her as having lost love for her people, Tartaglia depicts her as a gentle soul with a cold but pure gaze, whose dreams of peace led her to declare war on the entire world. As the head of the Fatui, she uses the organization to exert political and financial pressure across Teyvat. The Fatui Harbingers answer directly to her, receiving powerful Delusions from her authority. Currently, only four Fatui Harbingers remain active — Pulcinella, Arlecchino, Pantalone, and Childe — as others have died, left, or betrayed the organization, such as Dottore, who attempted and failed to become a god.
The Tsaritsa has pale skin, white hair, and light blue-gray eyes. Under her command, the Fatui stood as a powerful military force in both strength and numbers, making Snezhnaya the most formidable of all seven nations. Consequently, they are widely feared and despised by other nations due to their deceitful and conniving reputation.

Columbina (Moon Goddess)
Name: Columbina Hyposelenia
Goetic Name: Kuutar (Discarded)
Birthday: January 14th
Region: Nod-Krai
Affiliation(s):
• Frostmoon Scions
• Fatui (formerly)
Titles:
• The Moon Maiden
• The Frost Moon
• Trilune Goddess
• "The Damselette" / Third Fatui Harbinger (formerly)
Favorite Food: Candy
Element: Hydro
Known as the Moon Goddess of Nod-Krai, "Kuutar" to the Frostmoon Scions, and formerly "The Damselette" (Third of the Fatui Harbingers), Columbina was born into an unkind world and cast into solitude from the moment of her creation. To her, Teyvat was never a kind mother—it exhausted all the love she could offer upon giving her a singular, extraordinary identity, leaving her to grope forward in cold silence. Having now departed from the Fatui, Columbina lives as the Moon Maiden of Nod-Krai. With Capitano and Signora dead, and no traces remaining of the 6th or 10th Harbingers, her ties to the Fatui are entirely severed.
"Winter nights know no mercy. She left her curtained nest in frost and snow; no one is obliged to restore that which she has lost."
— The Tsaritsa
Her path was once a spiraling maze of looping journeys and fading memories. Barefoot, she walked through the Frostmoon Enclave and Glupov, eventually returning to the Silvermoon Hall, softly humming the melodies of her past. Yet, with the help of her friends, she finally found her true identity: Columbina Hyposelenia. Through these bonds, she claimed genuine hope and desires of her own, seeking to return to her true home.
Walking toward death, she was answered with rebirth. As gravity drew the wandering moon back into its origin, its true path revealed itself. She is no longer an image shattered in water; she is the deity who sings fate into the darkness, sets the tides in motion, and brings freedom to those beneath the moon. She embraces the quiet pull of the night, turning away from the confusing world of daylight to fulfill her calling as the Frost Moon.
Columbina is a pale young woman with long black hair featuring dark pink and magenta highlights, styled in side-plaits fastened with white ribbons. She wears a distinctive X-shaped white lace mask over her eyes—which remain closed most of the time, revealing pearl-like eyes when opened—and large, dove-wing-like white ribbons on her head. Her attire consists of a flowing white and indigo-blue dress with shoulder panels, a blue crescent gem on her chest, and she floats barefoot with an ethereal, moon-like balance.

The Abyss Order

The Abyss Order is an organization composed mostly of non-human beings that harness both the elements and Abyssal power, seeking to ruin Teyvat as retaliation for the Cataclysm 500 years ago. Its members are former citizens of Khaenri'ah who were transformed into monsters through a yet unclear process, speculated to be the divine punishment of the Heavenly Principles and other gods of Celestia, such as the Unknown God. After being separated by the Unknown God, the Traveler's sibling became the leader of the Abyss Order. The Abyss Order usually conscripts Hilichurls and Abyss Mages to carry out their work.

Current Status of the Divine Thrones

There are currently only six Divine Thrones remaining, as the Hydro element is now governed by the Hydro Dragon Sovereign. Furina is a human, while the true Hydro Archon, Focalors, was executed.

The Tsaritsa and Her Rebellion

The Tsaritsa is a god with no love left for her people. She harbors deep resentment toward Celestia, the Heavenly Principles, anything divine, and the rest of The Seven. Deeply traumatized by the events of the Cataclysm, she seeks to establish a new world order alongside the Fatui by collecting all seven Gnoses, with only the Pyro Gnosis remaining to be claimed.

The Tsaritsa is the current Cryo Archon, having succeeded the Belyi Tsar during the Cataclysm. Based on the events surrounding her accession, it is believed that the former Tsar died during a conflict with the Abyss. She was left profoundly changed by the catastrophe, and Dainsleif characterizes her thusly in the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: "She is a god with no love left for her people, nor do they have any left for her."

The Heavenly Principles

The Heavenly Principles (HP) are a set of divine laws that both gods and mortals must follow. They are also referred to as "destiny" or simply "the divine".

The Four Shades

The Four Shades are four gods who serve directly as envoys or emissaries under the Heavenly Principles. They were created by the Heavenly Principles after descending to Teyvat and battling against the Seven Sovereigns.

Overview
They are implied to be more powerful than the Seven Archons, with Istaroth named as a "higher power" compared to the late Electro Archon. According to Yohualtecuhtin, Lord of the Night, the Shades do not like to be mentioned by name by any living being — even including The Seven — and instead prefer to remain in the shadows as Shades.

Asmoday (Shade of Space)
Name: Asmoday
Titles:
• Ruler of Space
• Sustainer of Heavenly Principles
Domain: Space
Status: Missing
Asmoday is the Ruler of Space. She introduced herself as the "Sustainer of Heavenly Principles" to the Traveler and their sibling and was responsible for separating the two from each other.
Its current location is unknown. Istaroth speculates that she may have "switched sides" and abandoned her post as a Shade of the Heavenly Principles, while Ronova believes that she would not have done so unless she "loves her new master more than her own self."

Istaroth (Shade of Time)
Name: Istaroth
Titles:
• Ruler of Time and Wind
• Thousand Winds
• Kairos
Domain: Time
Status: Alive
Istaroth is the Ruler of Time, also known by a myriad of names, including the "Thousand Winds" and "Kairos." She was worshiped in Mondstadt alongside Barbatos, as well as in Enkanomiya.

Naberius (Shade of Life)
Name: Naberius
Titles:
• Ruler of Life
Domain: Life
Status: Alive (fused with Rhinedottir)
Naberius is the Ruler of Life. She was given the duty to create life and was responsible for helping the Heavenly Principles create animals, plants, and humans.

Ronova (Shade of Death)
Name: Ronova
Titles:
• Ruler of Death
Domain: Death
Status: Alive
Ronova is the Ruler of Death. She helped Natlan establish its rules and gave guidance to the Lord of the Night in creating the Night Kingdom out of an expression of love and an act of reparation. However, these actions were considered to be overstepping her authority as a Shade and displeased the Heavenly Principles.

The Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah

The Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah were five individuals of great esteem in Khaenri'ah and were considered the best of their peers. Dainsleif claims that if he and the Five had worked together, they could have stopped the Vinster King from rocking the consciousness of Teyvat. Yet, they could not resist the call of the Abyss, and they divided up among themselves "a power that could destroy the world." Thus, they became sinners, but also transcendent beings with "world-shattering power."
Members:
• Hroptatyr — "The Wise"
• Vedrfolnir — "The Visionary"
• Rhinedottir — "Gold"
• Surtalogi — "The Foul"
• Rerir — "Rächer of Solnari"

Nod-Krai History

Nod-Krai is an autonomous region located in the southernmost part of Snezhnaya, on the edge of Teyvat. According to Liben, people from all over Teyvat gather here, and "those not in the know would think that opportunities to get rich are everywhere there," leading Nod-Krai to gain the reputation of being an "Elysium."
Nod-Krai is especially hostile due to its harsh environment and the lack of protective or regulatory forces apart from the Voynich Guild, leading Liben to warn the Traveler to be wary if they go there. Those suspected of holding a large amount of Mora are also painted as targets by others.
Nod-Krai includes locations such as Nasha Town, where the "Speranza" operates, the Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop, which produces many different inventions, as well as Hiisi Island, home to the Frostmoon Scions. According to Helka, the Frostmoon Scions are a strange group that lives in the wilds and forests surrounding Nod-Krai, whom people generally avoid investigating or approaching. They have also erected several statues of a moon deity, spreading them all across Nod-Krai.
The people of Nod-Krai are able to use a special power that predates the Seven Elements of Teyvat. A Fatui stronghold operates in Nod-Krai, led by Il Dottore. Previously, the area was considered "dangerous yet lively," but in recent times, it has become even more dangerous than usual. At some point, large-scale development was planned for the region, but no traces of it exist to this day, unless one counts the many scraps lying around. There is also a species of crab residing in the area that is far different from those found in Fontaine. At some point after Helka left to explore monsters from other nations, the Fatui returned and brought in abundant construction supplies as part of their "Palestar Edict," with rumors swirling that one or several Fatui Harbingers were present as well. Additionally, there are severe situations to the north regarding Abyssal influence.
Following the Cataclysm, Nod-Krai was one of the first locations to be attacked by the Abyss. These Abyssal entities are generally known as The Wild Hunt, and their members are notably stronger compared to other Abyssal creatures. They appear to be searching for something of extreme significance in the area. The Lightkeepers are still fighting these Abyssal beings, but have become severely weakened due to previous battles.
Varka and the Knights of Favonius were also heading to Nod-Krai after learning new information during their expedition.

The universal currency used throughout Teyvat is Mora, a unique medium of exchange named after the Geo Archon, Morax. Originally minted at the Golden House in Liyue through the power of the Geo Gnosis, Mora serves not only as the primary standard for trade across all seven nations, but also as a vital catalyst in alchemy, crafting, and physical enhancement. In real-world monetary terms, approximately 81 Mora is equivalent to 1 USD.

Overview of Archons and Major Divine Figures

  • Venti (Anemo Archon): A carefree spirit who deeply loves the people of Mondstadt, choosing to let them govern themselves in true freedom. He is the second surviving member of the original Seven Archons.

  • Zhongli (Geo Archon): The oldest of the Seven Archons, he carries himself with ancient wisdom and possesses an enduring love for his people, whom he guided for millennia.

  • Ei (Electro Archon): Serious and stern yet fond of sweets, she uses an engineered puppet to rule over Inazuma while she meditates within her inner domain, the Plane of Euthymia.

  • Nahida (Dendro Archon): Kind, empathetic, and surprisingly humorous, she possesses exceptional wisdom and intelligence that far exceeds her youthful appearance.

  • Furina (Human / Former Hydro Archon): Dramatic, theatrical, and remarkably resilient, she endured 500 years of solitary performance disguised as a deity to save Fontaine, before finally stepping down to live a quiet human life devoted to the arts.

  • Neuvillette (Hydro Dragon Sovereign): Stern, dignified, and aloof on the surface, he is a deeply compassionate ruler whose grief physically manifests as Fontaine's rainfall; Having reclaimed his full elemental authority, he protects the nation and cherishes the Melusines as family.

  • Mavuika (Pyro Archon): Kind and deeply devoted to Natlan, she is a human mortal who holds the seat of the Archon rather than a traditional divine deity.

  • The Tsaritsa (Cryo Archon): Cold and hardened by past tragedy, she harbors deep resentment toward her own people, Celestia, the divine, and the rest of the Archons.

  • Columbina (Moon Goddess / Former Harbinger): Soft-spoken, ethereal, and quietly enigmatic, she abandoned her post as the Third Fatui Harbinger to embrace her true calling as the Moon Maiden of Nod-Krai, seeking her origins while bringing hope and freedom to those in the dark.
