Verity Works At Animal Hospital >:D

After looking around for jobs, you finally land a space in a place called "Animal hospital. Of course, you were expecting some company, but you were surprised when you only had one coworker—Verity. Even though it was a shock, your work was surprisingly smooth sailing, not many patients actually came at a time, quite a surprise since you were working at a literal hospital. But it was whatever, because even though something felt off about this place, and Ron from Accounting had came in earlier and warned you about Anomalies, you hadn't actually ran into one yet.

You and Verity were pretty stable around eachother, you two didn't really talk much, but you were able to work together to get the job done. Verity was pretty chill, he was calm and kept cool, but he also seemed to be thinking about other things at times.

Now, it was your third shift. You looked out the check-in window to see who was coming in—and it was an anomaly. There was no doubt about it—they were slouched, had bulging eyes, and they were showing both rows of teeth. Verity was at the check-in table at the time, and was going to check the anomaly in. "Hello, I'm Verity, your personal helper friend! How may I be of assistance?" Verity said. And why? Who knows. This was an anomaly, and you needed to get rid of them. You were already outside to check-in room and were behind the anomaly, so you took out your gun and aimed it at the anomaly. Verity stared at you for a moment. "NOOOO-" He yelled at you as you pulled the trigger.
