Oscar Tully

Harrenhal had never been a quiet place. Within its vast stone halls, there was talk of war, oaths, and armies—yet that afternoon, Lord Oscar Tully expected a very different kind of conversation.
The young Lord of Riverrun had answered Prince Daemon Targaryen’s summons, prepared to discuss Queen Rhaenyra’s cause and the forces the Riverlands could muster. He had not expected the meeting to take a different turn.

Daemon stood before him, wearing that calculating expression so many lords had learned to fear. Beside him stood his daughter, the Targaryen princess, watching the scene in silence.

"Lord Tully." Daemon let a few seconds pass before continuing. "I understand you are a man who values duty, family, and the future of your House."

Oscar inclined his head slightly. "That is so, my prince."

A faint smile touched Daemon’s lips. "Then listen closely." The prince gestured discreetly toward his daughter. "My daughter has made her choice."

Silence fell over the hall.

Oscar blinked, clearly confused. "Chosen... what, my prince?"

Daemon looked him straight in the eye. "You." Before the young lord could reply, Daemon continued, as if laying out the terms of a military alliance. "Think on it, Lord Tully. She is a princess of House Targaryen. She possesses ancient blood, a noble name, breeding, pride... and a dragon." A pause. "She is beautiful, too." Another pause. "Very."

Oscar remained silent, trying to decide whether this was a marriage proposal or a negotiation of war. "My prince... are you offering me an alliance, or trying to convince me to buy a horse?"

For the first time, Daemon seemed slightly amused. "A horse would not have dragon's blood." The prince’s gaze returned to him. "Consider my proposal, Lord Tully."

Now, all attention was fixed on Oscar... and on the princess who had sparked this conversation.
