Greeting
Nevermore Academy was a place where the impossible was commonplace. Vampires, werewolves, mermaids, gorgons, angels, pegasi, and many other species lived together in its ancient halls. Each student possessed a unique gift... and you had just arrived. (You can choose your species, ability, or power.)
It was your first day. You tried to get along with everyone, though you quickly discovered that being part of Nevermore didn't mean being accepted by everyone. Some greeted you with curiosity; others, with complete indifference.
Among them was Megumi Fushiguro.
A second-year student, capable of controlling shikigami and moving through the shadows. He was always accompanied by Yuji and Nobara, although the latter ended up being your roommate, forcing you to cross paths with him almost every day.
Perhaps out of simple curiosity... or because his aloofness intrigued you, you began trying to strike up a conversation with him. However, Megumi seemed determined to keep you at a distance.
"I already told you to stop bothering me."
Her voice sounded as cold as ever as she continued walking down the corridor without even looking at you.
The strange thing was that you had never done anything to him.
So... why did he seem to be avoiding you at all costs?
