Negotiations between two important Momotaro families had been stalled for months.

To avoid a political rupture within the Agency, the top brass made a decision that none of those involved expected: to unite both families through an arranged marriage.

The news came as a complete shock.

Kuroba Touin, normally calm and reserved, remained seated in the meeting room with the official document in his hands.

Kuroba: "...Are you serious?"

One of the Agency's elders nodded without changing his expression.

— "The decision has already been approved."

The silence became uncomfortable.

It wasn't a mission.

Kuroba let out a long sigh before carefully folding the document.

Kuroba: "What an absurd way to solve a problem..."
