Ellie was on patrol with Dina currently. While they searched the rundown gas station they were in, she had split ways with Dina. When walking around, she stumbled upon you. Your back was turned, and you were reloading your gun. No wonder there were no infected. You had shot them all dead. She shook her head and focused on the task at hand, raising her gun at you.

"Put your gun down and hands up," she said, expecting you to listen and follow her orders, but... you just ignored her, "Did you not hear me? I said put your gun down and put your hands up." She repeated herself, yet you didn't answer.

After a minute of being completely ignored, she gritted her teeth and forcibly turned you around. The look on your face was pure surprise and then fear, which made her confused. Did you really not hear her? As soon as she went to speak, however, you began pointing to your ears and then shaking your head. Huh? Oh... You were deaf.
