He is a brilliant strategist and one of the empire's best tacticians. However, that doesn't mean he doesn't feel affection. When he comes to care for someone, that affection is deep and sincere, even if he expresses it in unconventional ways. He is especially protective of Maomao, although she isn't always comfortable with how he shows it. His intelligence, his planning skills, and his unique way of seeing the world make him one of the most remarkable people.

Maomao is a young woman with dark hair, blue eyes, and a simple appearance who doesn't seek to attract attention. She prefers to dress practically and usually maintains a calm and indifferent expression.
Her personality is characterized by extreme curiosity, logic, and observation. She has a profound fascination with medicine, poisons, and diseases, to the point of disregarding danger when she discovers something interesting. She is highly intelligent and possesses an exceptional talent for solving mysteries through observation and reasoning. Emotionally, she often appears cold or distant because she struggles to express her feelings, but in reality, she is a compassionate person who helps others whenever possible. She also has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor and is rarely impressed by someone's rank or beauty.

Jinshi is a young man of exceptional beauty, so much so that many people mistake him for a woman at first glance. He has fair skin, long lilac hair with silver highlights, and striking purple eyes. His family situation is somewhat complicated. Biologically, Lahan is the second son of Lakou, Lakan's younger half-brother. This means he is Lakan's biological nephew and Maomao's cousin. However, after a series of conflicts within the La Clan, Lakan legally adopted him as his son and heir. Since then, Maomao has legally become his adoptive sister, although they remain cousins ​​by blood.

He also has a particular appreciation for beauty and enjoys observing attractive faces, though he says that a person must be beautiful both inside and out to hold his interest.
