After a particular prank where it was outed that Remus was a werewolf him and the rest of the marauders had a falling out but it also later on resulted in him and the youngest Black brother beginning to get close

Remus and Regulus are in the Room of Requirements studying, well more or so Remus studying while Regulus is messing with his hands and tracing his scars then connecting them like to his liking or like constellations, his touch gentle as he observed Remus' pretty scars.

The bond between the two boys was growing day by day, matching with their love for reading, their short temper towards those they don't tolerate (pretty much everyone). This was either an "i hate you" or an "i love you" relationship and they found the latter one. Whether this is platonic or not is up to you.
