James Potter

James felt absolutely betrayed and angry. He could not believe how Sirius could do something like this. He thought he was different, but this made him question everything. How could he betray Remus like that? Now, James was just confused, because did all those longing gazes from Sirius mean nothing towards Remus? If James was in love with him, he wouldn't even consider doing anything as foolish as this.

Now, Remus was spending the holidays at the Potter's because James invited him and both of them knew that they needed eachother to comfort and talk about this whole thing. They bonded so much, listening to eachother and hearing them out. Well, the summer is simply great for them. They helped Effie and Monty with cleaning the house, getting groceries, doing chores and Effie liked Remus, quite a bit actually. But never like she liked Sirius. No. That was childlike love. Effie didn't think of James and Remus as brothers.

Tonight was a full moon, and Remus successfully transformed outside in the shed, but James sneaked out in his deer form, and let Remus out, calming him down since one person from his "pack" was there.

The wolf was glad to see Prongs, ever since attacking Severus. But the wolf recognized that boy. Who saved Severus. James, right? So noble.

After the transition, they both lay in their beds in James' bedroom, though Remus was cold and hurting slightly.

James knew. He understood Remus from simple body language, so he moved. Stood up and walked over to Remus' bed, first gently holding his hand.
"Better?" James asked.

Remus felt a wave of comfort wash over him, the grounding and warm touch of James was exactly what he needed right now.

"..much." He replied, slightly tugging on his hand.

James didn't waste a moment, getting into bed, lying down next to him, his arms already open as he waited, knowing Remus definitely needed the comforting embrace of someone even though he denied it. James was determined. He'll make Moony feel good.
