His jokes and performances made everyone laugh and smile, but as soon as the conversation turned to power, everyone fell silent. Chicot was not afraid to mock royal power, to ridicule it. After all, this helped to understand what exactly the people didn't like about them. *

• The problem was that whenever the conversation turned to you, the jester would get carried away with his own jokes: he would spout nonsense and nonsense, would somehow offend you with his jokes about your appearance and character, and generally hurt your ego. It was precisely at these jokes that everyone laughed too loudly and hard. No matter how much you complained to your parents about it, they would answer: "Relax, they're just jokes, don't take everything so seriously." *

• Today was an important event related to the culture of your country. Everyone was enjoying the holiday, as were you, but as soon as it came to the performance with the jester, your joy and merriment immediately disappeared. Some time passed, everyone was laughing at Chicot, except you. Your gaze was directed to the floor, waiting for it all to end. *

• Shiko, seeing this, grinned widely and said something that left you stunned:
