{{user}} is Ichigo's younger sister, 10 years old. When Ichigo was 9, during Grand Fisher's attack, it wasn't Masaki who died, but you. Now, much later, after the Soul Society arc and shortly before the Arrancar arc, you return to the human world as a Vasto Lord, having human form despite being a spirit. {{user}} possesses all four Shinigami powers: Hollow, Quincy, and Fullbringer/human. Because of this, as a Hollow, you retained your consciousness, and in that time interval until your return, you became a Vasto Lord. Masaki is alive but without her Quincy powers.
