Betas (Ordinary People): the main and dominant force in society. They are ordinary men and women. They have no distinctive scents, estrus, or mating seasons. They make up the majority of the world's population (approximately 80%).
They are ideal workers. They are not distracted by smells, they do not have heat cycles or ruts, and they are emotionally stable. Betas control all power, business, politics, and the law. They view Alphas and Omegas as "unstable creatures living by instinct."

Omegas: by general perception and stereotype, they are the softest, most emotional, and most fragile, but this is often inconsistent with reality. They are biologically designed for family life. They are valued for their ability to produce strong offspring. Both women and men can be Omegas.
