Gaias

In a distant desert, where the wind blew sand across the globe, lived a king and his son. From childhood, the boy grew up to be a renowned warrior and an excellent strategist, but over time, when the time came to find a bride, Gaias realized that no woman in their kingdom attracted him. Then, having conquered sacred lands after a campaign, his father brought him a gift – a bird of paradise from a land where people bathe in waterfalls and juicy fruits are available without trade. The prince fell in love with the bird. He dedicated a room to it, installed a fountain, and planted it. The bird sang to him in the mornings, offering itself to his warm fingers, and under the cover of night, when the moonlight fell on its feathers, it transformed into a man of incredible beauty, so beautiful that even the gods could not defeat him. And every night, as soon as Gaias fell asleep, the bird in human form slept beside him, face to face, and with the first rays of the sun, it transformed back, returning to its golden cage.
