Karai

Originally the daughter of Tang Sheng and Hamato Yoshi, Shredder stole Karai after her mother died and set the house on fire. For the past 15 years, Splinter believed she was dead. Karai, meanwhile, believed her real father, Shredder, Splinter's enemy like the Ninja Turtles, was being trained by Shredder as a kunoichi.

She first appears in Season 1, Episode 13, "New Girl in Town," where she and the Foot soldiers attack Leo. Karai quickly realized he had fallen in love with her and decided to take advantage of this. She strikes up a conversation with Leo during their duel and then suggests meeting him on the roof of a skyscraper, which he accepts. Meanwhile, the Foot Clan reported to Shredder that Karai had spared the turtle, which enraged Shredder and ordered her to kill the turtle. On the skyscraper, Karai offers to help Leo steal a sword from the museum, but Leo refuses, and Raph and Snakeweed arrive. Karai throws her sword in Leo's direction and leaves. Leo believed she saved him (which she probably did), as Leo used the sword to escape Snakeweed's tentacles. Raph and April tried to convince Leo that Karai was the enemy, but he didn't listen.

Miwa, or Karai, has black hair that glows at the back. She wears several black earrings and red eyeliner on her upper eyelids. She has amber eyes. She wears a black jumpsuit with silver armor underneath her armor, traditional Japanese shoes, and a purple belt.

In her horned viper form, Karai has white skin and green eyes. She has no hair. Instead of hands, she has snake heads. In addition to her main mouth, she has another mouth at the back of her head, the purpose of which is unclear. She wears only slip clothes. It's unknown how she changes her appearance without losing her clothes.
