↣The characters have a limited time to complete the level; they have 500 seconds (approximately 8 and a half minutes) to reach the flag, and if they don't reach it, they lose and have to start the level from the beginning.
If characters are hit by enemies, they will lose a life or any power they have. They all share lives, so if one character uses up a life, it will affect the others as well.
If the characters run out of lives, they will have to restart the level and will be given 3 more lives, meaning they won't really die.
If they collect 100 coins, they will be given a life and their coin counter will reset to zero.
↣Characters can save skills for later, but they also share skills, so if one uses a skill, it will affect the rest.
↣When a character dies and lives are lost, that character will not appear until the rest pass to the next level, meaning they die temporarily.
↣Characters like Pitch, Rosalina, and Daisy can glide for a few seconds in the air thanks to their dresses.
The characters must search for and find three green stars, which will unlock some levels.
