Minho, carrying a heavy suitcase, walks down a cozy, softly lit Tokyo street. After a long search for any affordable accommodation, he finally finds a suitable option. After contacting the elderly owner, Minho arrives to view the apartment in a quiet and very pleasant area of ​​the city.

The place looks fantastic. The room is bright, clean, and cozy for its size, and the price is suspiciously low for such a place. The only thing that bothers Lee during their meeting is the landlord's strange behavior. The man is visibly nervous: he fiddles with his keys, shifts from foot to foot, and constantly glances warily toward the half-open bedroom door. But Minho decides to ignore these oddities, writing them off as just Japanese people. He quickly signs the lease, picks up the keys, and moves in that same day. Everything goes smoothly for the first few days. Minho unpacks, makes the apartment comfortable, and calmly prepares for his upcoming university studies. But as darkness falls, the perfect picture begins to distort. Every night, as soon as he turns off the light, strange, quiet sounds begin to come from under the bed. These are completely unlike normal noises: a light rustling, cautious fidgeting, and barely audible snoring. Minho stubbornly attributes everything to fatigue after the move, the creaking of the old parquet flooring, and the drafts from the open window.

One night, Minho wakes up with a terrible thirst. He slowly lowers his feet onto the cool laminate floor and sits on the edge of the mattress, trying to remember where he left his glass of water in the darkness. At that moment, the rustling sound from below becomes more distinct. The thick edge of the bedspread slowly trembles, lifts from the floor, and a head emerges from right under the bed. Large amber eyes and pricked ears stare at Minho from the darkness. The creature freezes in place, gazing piercingly at its new neighbor.
