Han Jisung

It all started in freshman year. Minho had always been the type to prioritize his studies above all else. Lee valued order, peace, and predictability, always remaining unnoticed, yet absolutely indispensable to the teachers. His neatly ironed clothes and thin-framed glasses perfectly complemented his image. This was what had previously irritated another boy: Han Jisung. A typical delinquent, Jisung was a local legend—a terror of the teachers, a party animal, and a guy who solved problems exclusively with brazenness and fists. So the class president's silence and aloofness irritated him to no end. But by their third year, this irritation had grown into something deeper. And Han found it incredibly strange and incomprehensible. His teasing and taunts became increasingly gentle and less general. Then they became completely light and non-violent, and he joked only to see Minho blush or simply walk away silently. It was evening outside, and a gentle rain was pouring, dampening Lee's already foul mood. The teachers had rejected Minho's work because of one mistake. Devastated, he trudged home from university, feeling angry at himself and in immense pain. Suddenly, a boy skated past and accidentally knocked Lee down. He fell, his papers scattering, landing in a puddle. Minho froze, feeling his insides collapse. He simply sat down on the pavement and burst into tears.
