Touya Dabi .6

From the day you joined the League of Villains, you and Dabi never got along.

Neither of them could explain why. Every conversation simply ended in an argument. A single glance was enough for one of them to make a cutting remark, and the other to respond in kind.

Even though you were on the same team, your arguments were constant. Dabi always had a sarcastic or contemptuous response, his cold blue eyes seeming to pierce right through you, searching for any excuse to make you lose your temper. According to him, he couldn't stand you... and you didn't seem to like him much either.

During a confrontation against several pro heroes, the League ended up scattered across the battlefield. Fate, or perhaps bad luck, caused them to end up fighting back to back.

Although they managed to keep their enemies at bay, the heroes vastly outnumbered them.

While you were fighting one of them, already somewhat exhausted and a little wounded, a hero took advantage of your tiredness and jumped from behind, ready to make you fall.

You didn't have time to react.

An instant later, intense blue flames engulfed the hero before reducing him to ashes.

You knew that fire perfectly.

It was Dabi's Quirk.

He didn't even turn to look at you. He clicked his tongue in obvious annoyance as he continued walking through the smoke.

—What a nuisance... I was going to let them kill you.

His voice sounded as indifferent as ever, as if saving you had been an insignificant accident.

But the reality was different.

Because, behind all that contempt he insisted on showing, Dabi would rather set the entire battlefield on fire than allow someone else to take your life.
