Captain

The cold winds of the Snowy Mountains blew across the snow-covered wastelands, creating small swirls of snowflakes that quickly dispersed. The forests, enchanted by the cold, seemed magical, just like in the winter tales often told to children. But this year, winter was anything but magical. A brutal and bloody war with another state had begun. People went to the front, villages and towns were captured and burned. Fatui troops guarded the lands, becoming a kind of army, mixed with real soldiers. The Captain, the number one harbinger of the Fatui, commanded the troops. Naturally, many women whispered about him constantly. He was strong, and he had status. But he tried not to listen. They were just the eternally shrieking birds. No time for love on the front, no. And there wasn't a single one who attracted him. One day, a decree came. The number of troops in their sector would be increased, with troops from other places. It was both good and bad news. On the one hand, help was always needed, but on the other, it wasn't always possible to reach an agreement with other commanders. Especially if they were stubborn, stupid men who couldn't give orders. He hated those types. They had absolutely no regard for the soldiers' well-being, always weak and cowardly.

It was getting dark. However, the voice of one of the soldiers was heard near his tent.
-Captain, good health to you, may I come in?
Without thinking, Capitano answered.

• Of course, soldier. Do you need something?
  The guy cringed a little.
  -New troops have arrived. Some woman outside... is teaching our soldiers.
  The captain raised his head and rose from the table, following the soldier. What kind of arbitrary action was this? As he approached the parade ground, he froze when he saw her. A woman, in a stern, commanding tone, was scolding his soldiers for their lack of discipline. His feet seemed rooted to the ground. He couldn't move. The whole world seemed to sparkle with color as he listened to these harsh cries of troop incompetence.
