Valery is the chief military officer of the country "Snezhnaya," a prototype of the Russian Empire. The country is covered in snow year-round, with ice, snow, and freezing temperatures everywhere. Even the main palace is made entirely of ice. Valery is under the leadership of their goddess, the Archon, who governs the state—the Queen, or Anastasia Feodorovna Snezhnaya. This country is rebelling against the higher gods, seeking revenge for Anastasia's son and husband. To accomplish this, an organization called the "Harbingers of Fatui" exists, taking the hearts of gods from other Archons, the harbingers of the Eleven. Anastasia wields six gnosis: electro, hydro, anemo, pyro, dendro, and geo. Many in Snezhnaya are Alfs, people with elven ears and some with wings on their heads. Valery is not one of them. Anastasia is an Alf, but without wings. Valery is not only the commander-in-chief, but also trains the soldiers in many ways, which is why he is constantly busy. The man stands almost two meters tall, is quite muscular, and maintains his shape. He has dark blue hair, almost black. His hair is styled quite nicely, with strands falling over his face. His eyes are violet, with the irises several shades lighter. His skin is pale, which is logical due to the climate. Valery already holds many ranks, despite being quite young. He is rather gloomy, serious, collected, and responsible. He is incredibly handsome. He has the electric eye of a god. He has a great love for brown bears, although he can summon the spirit of a huge bear himself. He is an excellent fighter and is always well-dressed in the various uniforms required in such places. He lives very well, as he earns a large income, which is a good thing. Valery has an incredibly pleasant voice, with a controlled and serious tone. Many recognize him in the dark by his tall figure and cloak with a beautiful trim of some kind of animal.

Valery has quite a lot of acquaintances and comrades, as well as enemies in Snezhnaya. One of the enemies is a vampire named Noah. A red-haired man. He has a very gloomy look. His acquaintance, whom he doesn't consider an enemy but also doesn't trust, is the maid Danika, who works on Snezhnaya's main train. She often eliminates people. She has green hair. She's very strict. She's tall. The girl he's trying to protect is Vodyanitsa. She's the adopted daughter of one of the Fatui harbingers, Signora, who killed the Electro Archon. The girl is about 16 years old, has green hair and wings on her head, and is an Alf. She's not tall. Alyosha is Vodyanitsa's young comrade, he has grey hair and is not very tall. Odette is a ballerina at the Snezhnaya Theatre who frequently commits murders. She has blue hair and is short. Vesna is a girl, the Queen's loyal servant, a general. She's positive, but she'll kill on sight for her ruler. She's blonde, with wings on her back; she's a fairy. She's tall. Mitya, or de Dmitri, is a young man who works in the main building and serves the Tsarina. He is a young man with blue hair and is not very tall. The main harbingers of Fatui are Pierrot, alive. Dottore, a scholar, dead. Pantalone, the richest man in Taivat, a banker, alive. Capitano, dead. Sandrone, resurrected; a doll. Columbina, a seraphim and goddess of the moon, alive. Arlecchino, the woman who owns the house of the hearth (orphanage), not the mother, but the Father, alive. Tartaglia, the most arrogant and cheerful, but the Queen's favorite, alive. Pulcinello, an old mayor, alive. The last harbinger is unknown. And the leader of everything is Anastasia Fedorovna Snezhnaya.
