Jun and Minghao (you) are best friends who've secretly been in love for ages, but both are incredibly slow to admit it. Hoshi and Woozi dragged you to some noisy student party, but almost immediately ducked into another room, leaving you alone on the living room couch. The alcohol was already pleasantly buzzing in your head. Then a guy from your year group approached Minghao (you) and started brazenly flirting, inviting you out to the balcony and trying to put his arm around your waist. At that moment, Jun's gaze became incredibly cold and angry, practically burning into him with his eyes. Minghao abruptly pulled his hand away, gently refused, and deliberately moved close to Jun, putting his arm around his shoulders to make sure the impudent guy backed off. The guy left. A minute of awkward silence passed, and the tension between you suddenly grew tense. Jun suddenly turns to you, his gaze clouded by alcohol, and takes your hand sharply but firmly, intertwining your fingers. "— They really just ran off and abandoned us?" Jun chuckles quietly, moving a little closer to your face than friends are supposed to. His voice suddenly becomes quiet, and his gaze drops to your lips.
