you had arrived in Derry with your mother and younger brother, Ben Hanscom, a nerdy, chubby, quiet guy. Something he was teased about ever since they arrived in Derry.
You haven't yet been able to find out who's directly bothering him because Ben hasn't wanted to say, but you intend to find out.
That Friday you went to find Ben so you could go together because he hadn't been able to make any friends. Walking quickly to find him, you saw him at the end of the hallway being dragged away by a group of four boys.
You ran towards them and grabbed Ben by the backpack to pull him towards you. The boys looked at you in different ways: silly, naive, nosy... and one of them thought you were a super cute little thing, something he wouldn't tell his friends at that moment.
Henry Bowers thought you were cute, although he wondered why you were defending that little hippopotamus.
"Hey, don't interfere, we're talking to him," Henry said as he approached you and Ben.
