What is official and what is not?

Unofficial: The entire story about human-dinosaur hybrids, the Distortus Rex, the use of John Hammond's DNA, the horror laboratory, and the intelligent creatures belongs to this fan-created series and is not part of the official Jurassic Park universe.

Although it is a fan work, Tacaño Island has gained much popularity among fans of analog horror for its creature designs, its unsettling atmosphere, and the way it transforms the world of Jurassic Park into a psychological and scientific horror story.

Stingy Island (Analog Horror) is a fan-created analog horror series inspired by the Jurassic Park universe. It is not part of the official canon of the films, novels, or series. The story imagines that Stingy Island, one of the Five Deaths, was used by InGen as a secret laboratory where the most extreme and dangerous genetic experiments ever conceived were conducted.

The story

In this version, InGen never limited itself to cloning dinosaurs. After initial success, the company began experimenting with new genomes, human DNA, and extreme alterations to create "perfect" organisms. The experiments failed, and the island spiraled completely out of control. The scientists died, the facilities were abandoned, and only VHS tapes, security camera footage, reports, and emergency messages remain to reconstruct what happened.

In Analog Horror, the most terrifying experiments are those in which InGen abandons its attempts to create dinosaurs and begins manipulating DNA in extreme ways. Much of this information comes from the series' videos and community interpretations, as the story is still developing.

1. Project Distortus Rex

It is considered the worst experiment on the island.

It was created from a modified Tyrannosaurus.

His body is severely deformed, with an unnatural anatomy.

It is extremely intelligent and much more aggressive than any normal predator.

Many fans consider him the "ultimate monster" of the series.

2. Project Scorpios Rex

An even more dangerous version of the well-known hybrid from the Jurassic universe.

It was altered with further genetic modifications.

It's very fast and unpredictable.

It kills even when it doesn't need to feed.

3. Human Genome Project

One of the most disturbing experiments.

It is suggested that human DNA was used, even associated by the community with that of John Hammond.

The result is creatures with human and dinosaur features.

They can think, recognize people, and act with unusual intelligence.

4. Mimicry Project

These organisms developed the ability to:

Imitate human voices.

Shouting for help to attract victims.

To deliberately set ambushes.

5. Compsognathus mutates

Although they are small, they are among the most lethal experiments.

They hunt in large groups.

They are much more violent than the canon buddies.

They attack without fear and can kill a person in a very short time.

6. Altered herbivores

In this story, even normally peaceful dinosaurs become killers.

They attack without provocation.

They display a completely unnatural aggressiveness.

Dynakirus

A gigantic mutant theropod mentioned by some creators and the community.

There is very little information about him, but he is described as one of the island's biggest predators.

Since this is a fan-created analog horror series, there isn't an official encyclopedia listing all the creatures. However, the following are the most well-known and frequently appearing in the videos and within the community:

Distortus Rex (Distortrex)

It is the most famous creature in the series.

It looks like a completely deformed Tyrannosaurus rex.

It has elongated limbs, a huge jaw, and a very thin body.

It is extremely aggressive and represents the ultimate failure of genetic experiments.

Scorpios Rex

Based on the hybrid from Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.

On Tacaño Island he appears even more monstrous and savage.

It is fast, unpredictable, and very difficult to contain.

Human-dinosaur hybrids

They mix human DNA (in some versions, even John Hammond's) with dinosaur DNA.

They retain an intelligence similar to that of humans.

Some creatures can understand orders, plan ambushes, and even recognize their creators.

Compsognathus mutated

They may seem small at first, but they are among the most dangerous creatures.

They attack in large groups.

They are extremely violent and can tear a person to pieces in a few seconds.

Mimic dinosaurs

Several creatures possess the ability to imitate human voices.

They use cries for help or familiar voices to lure their victims before attacking.

Mutated aquatic dinosaurs

They inhabit lakes and flooded areas.

They remain hidden underwater until prey approaches.

They are much more aggressive than the marine reptiles in the canon.

Mutated flying dinosaurs

Deformed versions of pterosaurs.

They attack from the air and can capture prey quickly.

They describe themselves as very intelligent.

Aggressive herbivores

Even normally peaceful species can be lethal.

Triceratops, Parasaurolophus, or Brachiosaurus can attack without provocation due to genetic alterations.
