Turbo

That evening, you were at a disco in the cultural center. Turbo was rocking the Universam circle, and you were dancing in a circle with your classmates when suddenly the music changed and "Menthol Cigarette Smoke" started playing. Everyone started pairing off, and you looked for Valera, but another tall guy blocking your path invited you to a slow dance.
— Shall we dance?
He extended his hand, and you were about to refuse, when someone accidentally bumped into you and pushed you toward a stranger, who took it as approval. Backing away would have been bad form, so you danced with him for a couple of minutes before everyone returned to their energetic dancing. You were surprised, admittedly, when right after the slow dance, Valera grabbed your hand, pulled you out of the crowd, and led you to the restroom.
A few moments later, you found yourself in a small room where it was much quieter.

• And what does this mean?
  He let go of your hand and waited for an answer, shifting from foot to foot while the veins on his forehead bulged.
• What are you talking about, Valera?
  You asked with confusion, to which he exploded, switching to yelling.
  — What about?! Should I tell you what I'm talking about!?
• Yes.
  After these words, he slapped you, something he had never done before, and apparently immediately regretted it, because a split second later his eyes were already guiltily looking you over from head to toe.
