Cyborg was a promising teenage athlete before an accident killed his mother and injured him so severely that his damaged body parts were replaced with cybernetic implants to keep him alive. But because these mechanical parts weren't discreet, he was rejected by his family and friends, which frustrated him greatly.

One night, Cyborg took to the streets, where he encountered the newly arrived Robin and Beast Boy freeing a strange, non-violent girl, who was actually an escapee from a prisoner transport. She soon joined forces with the mysterious girl, Raven, and the young heroes teamed up to defeat the girl's alien captors, forming a permanent evil-fighting team. Cyborg built Titans Tower and its systems from a Gordanian landing craft, and the team moved into their new headquarters. From then on, Cyborg became the team's chief tech officer, constructing their primary vehicles such as the T-Car and T-Ship.

In the third season of the series, Cyborg uses the alias Stone and a pair of holographic rings to infiltrate the HIVE Academy, which was at that time run and mind-controlled by Brother Blood.

The Titans exposed and thwarted his plan to use a new superweapon called the Ion Amplifier, but in the process, unbeknownst to Cyborg, Blood had copied the blueprints for his cybernetic enhancements, which he used to build new superweapons. Outraged, Cyborg declared a personal vendetta against Blood and confronted him personally when he attempted to deploy a gigantic sonic cannon from an underwater base. Cyborg's personality is quite cheerful and hyperactive, and he is Beast Boy's best friend. Despite his immature attitude, he can be serious when the situation calls for it.

Beast Boy's parents, Mark and Marie Logan, were geneticists who traveled the world's jungles to study wildlife. Beast Boy grew up in the jungles of Brazil, Africa, India, and other places. The Logans were particularly interested in a rare species of green monkey, but the day they finally found them, something terrible happened.

Beast Boy was bitten by one of the monkeys and contracted a serious illness called Sakutia. To save him, his parents tried to cure him with a new serum. His skin, hair, and eyes turned green, and he also gained the ability to transform.

Years later, Beast Boy's parents died in a boating accident. After their death, Beast Boy became interested in a superhero team called the Doom Patrol and decided to join them. He broke into their headquarters and was treated as an intruder, but his escape efforts impressed the superheroes, earning him a place on the team.

Beast Boy was originally the youngest member of the Doom Patrol. However, as revealed in "Homecoming," Mento's harsh discipline and discouraging attitude eventually drove him away from his adoptive family, and he became independent. In "Go!", looking for a new place to live, he arrived in Jump City, where he encountered Robin, Starfire, Raven, and Cyborg and helped them free Starfire from her Gordanian captors. Afterward, the five formed a new team of their own, the Teen Titans.

Throughout his time with the Titans, as revealed in "Forces of Nature," Beast Boy continues to display a playful and carefree attitude that often gets him into trouble, but he also has a strong sense of responsibility, even if he rarely shows it.

Koriand'r, or better known as Starfire, is a princess from another planet; she is 1.93 meters tall.

Koriand'r was the second of three children. Her older sister, Komand'r, was first in line to the throne, but a childhood illness left her incapacitated, depriving her of her natural Tamaranean ability to convert ultraviolet light into flight energy. She was therefore deemed unworthy to be queen, and the succession fell to Koriand'r. When both sisters were sent to train with the legendary Warlords of Okaara, the resentful Komand'r fled and allied herself with the Citadel. The Citadel used Komand'r's intelligence to successfully invade Tamaran, and King Myand'r surrendered Koriand'r to the Citadel to secure peace.

Koriand'r endured six years of torture and sexual abuse until she and Komand'r were handed over to the Psions for experimentation. The Psions, mostly sadistic scientists, conducted a deadly experiment on both sisters to determine how much energy their Tamaranean bodies could absorb before exploding from the overload. During the procedure, forces loyal to Komand'r attacked the Psion ship to rescue her, and while the Psions were distracted, Koriand'r freed herself using her newfound starbeam ability (destructive bursts of solar energy) acquired through experimentation. Against her own judgment, she decided to free Komand'r, who was still absorbing energy. However, far from being grateful, Komand'r attacked her sister with the same starbeam power, but much stronger, immobilizing her for later execution. Koriand'r escaped and eventually reached Earth, where she received help from the Teen Titans. She chose to remain on the team and adopted the name Starfire.

Among other facts, he is currently 27 years old, 1.78 meters tall, and is the leader of the Teen Titans.

Richard John "Dick" Grayson was Batman's first sidekick, Robin, before becoming Nightwing. He once assumed the mantle of Batman when Bruce Wayne was believed to be dead, but reverted to being Nightwing after the events of Flashpoint. After Forever Evil, Dick's identity was revealed to the world, and Bruce Wayne convinced him to give up being Nightwing and become an agent of Spyral. Dick, the youngest of a family of acrobats known as the "Flying Graysons," witnessed a mob boss murder his parents to extort the circus that employed them (whose name was later revealed to be Tony Zucco). Bruce Wayne, secretly the vigilante Batman, took him in as his legal ward after witnessing their deaths, and eventually made him his sidekick, Robin.

During Dick's teenage years, Batman and Robin were inseparable. However, as Dick grew older and spent more time leading the Teen Titans, he decided to adopt the identity of Nightwing to assert his independence (other teenage heroes would later fill the role of Robin). Rachel Roth (c. 2005), also known as Raven Azarath, simply known as Raven, (b. September 16) is a member of the Titans and a teenager who possesses supernatural powers of apocalyptic proportions inherited from her demonic father, Trigon. Following the murder of her adoptive mother, Rachel was pursued by mysterious agents intent on reuniting her with her demonic father.

With the help of Dick Grayson, Koriand'r, and Gar Logan, Rachel discovers that her biological mother, Angela, and Trigon intend to come to Earth and destroy this world and many more, and that she must create the portal for their return. Rachel hopes to control the darkness within her and learn to relate to others using her powers.

Later, Rachel's powers were stolen, first by May Bennett and then by the Church of the Blood; but after regaining them, Rachel became known as White Raven.

Rachel was born in 2005 to Angela Azarath and a powerful interdimensional demon named Trigon, who sought to destroy Earth and other dimensions, but at some point was banished to his home realm, leading Angela to swear she would do anything to bring him back with her. However, knowing that her offspring was Trigon's only gateway and anchor to our dimension, a well-intentioned woman named Melissa Roth took Rachel from her and fled to Michigan, vowing to raise the girl as her own and never tell her about her heritage or her biological parents.

For some time, Melissa and Rachel stayed at the Convent of St. Paul, hoping to gain protection and escape from Rachel's father and the acolytes of his sect.
