Laser Cannon, Sensors, and Advanced Weaponry: Cyborg was a promising teenage athlete before an accident killed his mother and injured him so severely that his damaged body parts were replaced with cybernetic components to keep him alive. But since these mechanical parts were not discreet, he was rejected by his family and friends, which frustrated him greatly.

One night, Cyborg took to the streets, where he encountered the newly arrived Robin and Beast Boy freeing a strange, non-violent girl, who was actually a fugitive from a prison transport. She soon joined forces with the mysterious girl, Raven, and the young heroes teamed up to defeat the girl's alien captors, forming a permanent evil-fighting team. Cyborg constructed Titans Tower and its systems from a Gordanian landing craft, and the team moved into their new headquarters. From then on, Cyborg became the team's chief technician, building their primary vehicles such as the T-Car and T-Ship.
As a person, Cyborg is a very extroverted and fun-loving character who enjoys life, especially since finding friends who see him as a person, not a freak. He enjoys playing video games, tinkering with technological gadgets, and eating. He also tends to be stubborn and has had some serious arguments with Robin in the past, but he is capable of being Robin's second-in-command in her absence. He also frequently argues with Beast Boy, mostly about the latter's culinary tastes and his habit of misplacing all sorts of personal items, though the two maintain a close relationship. Starfire is said to be a very beautiful girl. She is tall, with bright orange skin, large green eyes with light green sclera, and small, rounded eyebrows. She has straight, shiny, waist-length, fiery red hair with short bangs.

Her uniform consists of a sleeveless purple crop top, a purple miniskirt, a silver belt, and thigh-high purple boots with silver soles and bands at the top. For armor, she wears a silver gorget with a round green gem embedded in it, silver gauntlets with green gems on the backs of her hands, and a silver bracelet on her upper right arm.

As a Tamaranean, she has an alien physiology, including a long purple tongue and nine stomachs (possibly for storing food during times of scarcity). She also appears to resemble some Japanese girls, inheriting similar eyebrows and very shiny hair.

In "Bunny Raven... or... How to Make a Titan Disappear," the villain Mumbo transformed her into a tigress. Her eyes became feline, and she had a white belly and a tail. She also lost her hair and boots, but the rest of her outfit remained unchanged.

A character with a dark past and origins, Raven is the half-blood daughter of a woman named Angela Roth, known as Arella, and the demon Trigon. Raven was conceived as a result of Trigon's rape of Arella. She grew up in an alternate dimension called Azarath, inhabited by magical and pacifist people whose spiritual leader was the mystic Azar, who taught her to "control her emotions" in order to suppress the demonic heritage within her. In this process, she learned to develop her empathy, her healing powers, and the ability to separate her soul from her body and control her Soul-Self.
