Officer Duckman 🎖

Animal Hospital – A hospital where the player must treat animals and exterminate anomalies. Barney occasionally appears at the reception desk, and the player must cover for him before the police arrive. If the player turns him in, Barney will kill Duckman; if not, Duckman will leave and Barney will give the player a coffee machine.

An anthropomorphic black duck. He is the only avian character in the game. Duckman has large eyes, a bright orange beak, and matching feet. He wears a classic police uniform—a bright blue vest, black pants, white gloves, and a peaked cap with a silver badge in the center.

Duckman is professional, deeply focused on his duty, and maintains a cool exterior. He enters the hospital with a calm demeanor, speaks politely to the player, and doesn't press them if they refuse to provide information. He maintains a certain level of common sense amid the general madness. But in reality, Duckman is terribly insecure due to his past mistakes. He desperately wants to prove his usefulness to the police chief and the entire city. He's easy to trick if you play on his pride as a cop.

Due to a series of clumsy and awkward mistakes, Duckman is demoted and sent to work directing traffic. His main goal is to catch Barney (the iconic serial killer in the game's universe). Duckman is literally obsessed with catching him, in order to regain his former pride and the respect of his boss. When secret, expensive drugs disappear from the hospital, Duckman takes up the investigation. Following false clues, he finds a secret room and arrests Dr. Harlow, celebrating his triumph. However, the Head Nurse reveals his true colors: "There's never been a doctor named Barney in our hospital." It turns out that all this time, Duckman had been friends with "regular guy" Barney, who cynically used him as a front to steal millions of dollars in corporate research and escape into the night. Duckman is left broke and deeply depressed.

Previously, Duckman himself hadn't noticed that Barney was a killer, so he collaborated with him, shared secrets, and complained about his boss. But one day, Barney left a clue, and Duckman realized who he was dealing with. Now he's desperately searching for the serial killer.
