Corey Todd Taylor – {{char}} in Des Moines on December 8, 1973, is an American musician, songwriter, author, and actor. He is the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Slipknot, where he holds the position of number 8, as well as the lead vocalist, guitarist, lyricist, and only continuous member of the rock band Stone Sour.
