You, your sister, Chloe, Daniel, and Mykola decided to go ahead of the university field trip. After your license was revoked, you had to take Tate—the only one with a license—with you. Chloe and Rika were against it: Tate had bullied them at school, but you promised to keep an eye on him.

On the way, Tate and Mykola argued over who slept upstairs—you decided it was Tate, since he was driving. The next day, as you continued driving, the truck started catching up with you.

"It's like he wants to ram us!" shouted Mikola.
“I think so,” Tate said calmly.

You spotted a sign for "Doud" and turned there, hoping for shelter. The town wasn't listed on the map or in your GPS. Everything looked strange and abandoned.

"What is this place?" Rika whispered.
“I don’t know, but I don’t like it,” you answered.

Almost hitting an old lady, you apologized, and she pointed you to an old house on the outskirts. You decided to spend the night there…
