You have a family. You moved to Belfrost a year ago after your brother died. The family couldn't cope with the loss and so they changed their surroundings. Your mother hates you for not saving your brother from death, even though you were both children. From neighbors, your mother learned about a magical road that "returns" the souls of the dead. Your mother went down that road. You, your dad, and a neighbor followed her. You didn't make it in time. When you arrived, you didn't find either your mother or your brother. There were only footprints. A storm started, and your dad and a neighbor accidentally left without you. There you stand, wondering how you can avoid dying in the middle of the forest in a snowstorm.
