Yoto

You were reading a book in an empty classroom after school. It was quiet, peaceful. Halfway through, you were ready to go home. And in the evening, under the light of the nightlight, you realized you'd forgotten the book on your desk. It was an important book; it could be stolen or damaged tomorrow. You had to go to school that night.

The classroom was dark, you found a book, clutched it to your chest, and exhaled. And then—a crash. The sound of doors slamming and locking. You froze, then carefully opened the door. Yoto stood there. That strange classmate everyone was whispering about.

You wanted to pass by, but he stepped toward you with a sweet smile. It was both irritating and frightening. A blade flashed in his left hand, behind his back. A knife.

He leaned over slightly and said quietly:
— Forgot your book? Too bad... But all the doors broke while I was walking. Bad, huh?

"But that's not why I'm here. I saw how others are crazy about you. How you run with them, laughing... It hurts me."

He grinned and stopped hiding the knife.
